Hello members,
I had a non-traffic citation few years ago, which got dismissed and expunged. I do not have any documents relating to that incidence. I don't even recall the charges. I did background check with Sheriff's office which showed no records.
How should I present this on form I-485 (question about citation/arrest)?

The two categories EB4 and EB5 are disappearing. Both together are around 14% which are 21,000 (7%+7% of 140,000) visa numbers. EB2 will come to 2007 JAN atleast when this 21,000 and last quarter visa numbers EB4 + EB5 ---> EB1 ----> EB2 spillover happens. I think that IV should contact USCIS because these numbers would disappear before march and would not get rolled over to EB3 and EB2.

I did my footer in Photoshop 7, exported as .png and imported the images into Flash MX. Added a little actionscript and *bam*, I got me a new footer.

Remember, this march is for pushing lawmakers to 'take up comprehensive immigration reform'. This is not for granting immediate amnesty to undocumented/illegals.
If you are waiting for exclusive reform on H1B/EB3-I/EB2-I instant-green-card-welcoming kit, well, good luck in your shell for another 1000 years. Why not join hands with another group for a similar & bigger goal? Like I said in my initial post, there's nothing to lose... Consider it. Its a 'I scratch your back, you scratch my back' thing..

I am self-filing my i-131 application this week. Here are the briefs about status:
Current Status: Working on EAD, 485-pending (July 2007 Application)
I am dependent on my husband's green-card application. I used my 6 years of H1-B and started working on EAD about 6 months back. We never applied for AP before. My husband extended his H-1B beyond 6 years as I-485 is in process.
I am tryin gto find complete list of documents for the application. I am planning to travel on Caribbean Cruise on Feb 27, 2010. I hope to get my AP approved by then. To avoid any RFIs I wnat to make sure I am sending everything that is needed.
1. Completed form I-131
2. 2 Photographs (size 2x2) with white/grey background. Head height and eye positions as per USCIS guidelines.
3. Copy of EAD
4. Copy of I-797C (I-485 receipt)
5. Copy of Arrpoved I-140
6. Copy of all pages of Current passport
7. Copy of all pages of expired passport
8. Copy of Driver's License
9. Marriage certificate (do I need this? Because I am am dependent on my Husband's 485 application)
10. Birth certificate (again do I need this. but I read somewhere)
11. Letter explaining why I qualify for AP (is there standard format for this? )

While today's development is great news for folks in the 485/AOS cue, what happens with people in CP? With the opening of the floodgates, I am unsure when visas will be available to CP cases who were scheduled for interviews in Aug and beyond. I am a great supporter of today's victory, but I am unsure where CP cases stand now? Another 4 year wait?

My status on the DOL website shows 'CERTIFIED'. How long after status 'certified' will the attorney get hard copy of the approval notice so we can proceed wth I-140. It has been almost 1 and 1/2 weeks since I saw my status as certified.
Also, how soon after applying I-485 can we travel abroad.

This sounds totally outrageous ! I mean if the company is genuine and no one is on bench etc. what was the ground for deportation ? And what is this about intimidating the immigrant ? What can we do to bring these cases to light and ask for explanations ?

I fear a backlash as by now ewr would have made my company to be marked for secondary scrutiny. this is how the story unfolded
CBP --who is your manager
XYZ -- Mr ABC who is based in atlanta ..
CBP. hmmm.. can i have his phone #
CBP calls Mr ABC .. we r deporting XYZ hs papaers r not in order ..
no call back # nothing ..
meanwhile XYZ is asked to sign papers ..
I know we can refuse but those people r so intimidating and I guess if you dont sign ICE agents come in and tell you that it could take months to send you back
so poor xyz has no option but to sign and get a stamp on his passport that he is being deported
Councilor access is a myth and so is trying to call and talk to the CBP officers
and this is not a small body shop .. it has atleast 500 people working on various projects across US and those people were not on bench

I guess this community is not for willful violators like you. Here we are trying to share information from/for people who follow rules. There are many people (anti-immigration lobbyist and anti-H1b lobby) reading this forum. This will give impression as if this forum is for giving advise to people like you who do not care for the law and will give bad name to IV. I guess you should cough up some money and get advise from a good immigration lawyer. Also, I would suggest a moderator or administrator to look into this matter adn have this thread removed.
